  • young raccoon standing outside a threshold

    Raccoons

Cute and cuddly they may be, there’s no question that raccoons can be a destructive and potentially dangerous houseguest. Raccoons are notorious rabies vectors that pose a risk to humans and pets. When these critters take up residence in attics, their droppings grow dangerous fungi which can cause respiratory destress and lethal complications. With a lifetime of trapping experience, Trapstar will identify the root cause of raccoon inhabitation and ultimately seal up the issue after removing any encroaching animals. We’ll even clean out any droppings they’ve left behind in your home.

  • opossum scampering off of a deck

    Opossum

Sadly the only extant marsupial in North America gets a bit of a bad rap. While generally placid and and mellow, opossum occasionally get into conflict with household pets. Luckily they are not known to carry the rabies virus, but they still have the potential to injure a curious pet. While they don’t gnaw through wood as rodents do, they often take up residence in crawlspaces, garages, basements, and exposed attics. They are not as destructive as raccoons but may still destroy ductwork insulation and other materials. At Trapstar, we will remove your opossum and safely relocate them, while addressing the root cause of inhabitation.

  • skunk in a defensive posture

    Skunks

Secretive and solitary, skunks can be a potentially destructive and stinky menace when they move onto your property. Often rooting up lawns and gardens with their claws, skunks love moving into cool, dark crawlspaces, where they may utterly destroy ductwork and other fixtures! Further, skunks carry rabies and can potentially be dangerous to pets at worst and leave them smelling something awful at best! Here at Trapstar Wildlife Solutions, we’ve got the skills and knowledge to safely remove your encroaching skunk without them spraying on your property!

  • scraggly longhaired cat sits in a garden

    Feral Cats

Believe it or not, feral house cats are one of the most devastating invasive species in North America. Feral cats are a danger to native biodiversity and potential vectors for rabies and bloodborne pathogens. They proliferate with little resistance from native animals, and can become a massive problem in an area over a short time. If you have a cat problem on your property, call upon Trapstar to get those kitties out of there! We assess every cat we trap for potential rehabilitation in captivity, and take them to shelters or facilities that specialize in rehoming cats.

  • fox standing in the sun in a meadow

    Fox, Coyote, and Bobcat

Most people wouldn’t guess how common it is for coyote and fox to enter metro areas in search of food and shelter. In residential areas, these animals may prey upon household pets who are left unattended. To boot, these carnivores are frequent vectors for rabies and canine distemper which may cause them to behave aggressively without provocation. If you suspect a large carnivore may be living on or visiting your property, rest easy when you call on Trapstar! While these animals may not always return to your property, we have the knowledge and skill to attract these clever animals to our traps and remove them safely.

Please note, we do not trap or capture domestic dogs or bears.

  • armadillo trotting through grass

    Armadillo

Secretive and often seldom seen, armadillos can cause a nuisance when they build a den on or near your property by rooting all over your lawn and garden in search of insect larvae. Their characteristic claws can absolutely devastate all of your beautiful landscaping work! Generally placid and prepared to flee, armadillos can sometimes behave aggressively if cornered by curious pets, potentially leaving nasty wounds and transmitting disease and bacteria. Luckily your lawn is safe when you call on Trapstar Wildlife Solutions! We have tried and true methods of trapping these pesky insectivores quickly and effectively!

  • mole poking out of dirt

    Moles

You can’t whack this problem away! Though solitary and territorial, several moles may build their burrows near each other if the soil and worm population is rich enough. Needless to say, this can lead to unsightly and dangerous depressions and softspots on your lawn. Somehow worse is that moles love to use driveways and slabs to piggyback burrow runs along or under, eventually leading to structural collapse from the cement’s own weight. Save your lawn some stress and rely on Trapstar Wildlife Solution’s expertise on mole burrowing habits to determine how many moles you’ve got and the extent of damage. And of course, we’ll take the moles with us!

  • turtle basking

    Reptiles

Typically, we get a ton of calls for snakes, but we know some people have other reptile removal needs as well. While a sign of a healthy food chain, turtles are often considered a nuisance by pond owners. Notorious for interfering with fishing baits, turtles may also prey upon young stocked fish. Lucky you, here at Trapstar we’ve built our own expert turtle traps!
We offer removal services for other reptiles and amphibians as well, if you’ve got just too many lizards or a frog or toad got in your kitchen! We won’t judge!
